I don’t usually talk about Pilot things here, but I wanted to make an exception for something I thought was especially interesting:

As many of you know, Pilot does accounting, tax prep, and CFO work for thousands of high-growth startups. One of the questions we frequently get from founders is: “What should I be paying myself?” And there really just isn’t a good resource to help answer that question—folks kinda make it up as they go.

So we set out to change that: we surveyed 500+ startup founders to capture that data for you, and put it together into the Founder Salary Report, 2022 edition.
